A beautiful memory of me. Love yourself. Love your life.

A beautiful memory of me. Love yourself. Love your life.

Take a moment to look a little closer at what surrounds us as what catches the eye is but a gate to a greater experience. A window to a restaurant may be a a glimpse into the artistry within. The simple beauty captured in this photograph is in the window of a Lucchese treasure.
Like a beautiful wine, we are the sum of all our influences.

Pray – address a solemn request or EXPRESSION OF THANKS to a deity or other objects of worship.
Thankful for the people I have in my life. Thankful for my health. Thankful for this beautiful planet that we are blessed to live in. Thankful for my ability to listen to the opinions of others. Thankful for our freedom to disagree with each other. Thankful to not live in fear. Thankful for the people who help us maintain respect for all beings and our world. Thankful for the many opportunities to smile and to increase my appreciation of this physical life.
I solemnly request the same for all…

Written years ago in an executive support group. We were asked to pick a word at random, reflect on the word for a few minutes, and then put together a brief statement describing our reflection. EgB
Priority
I want to write about priority.
Priority at home, priority at work, priority in life.
Priority?
What is it? Who is it? Why is it? Where is it?
I guess one would say that it is all about when…
When will I see my wife, my daughter, my son?
When will I see my parents, my brother, my sisters, my friends?
When? Will? I?
These sound like simple questions, but is the answer really “when”?
I know when to work but do I know when to live, how to live, why to live?
Priority is a question not a word.
A question with no real answer, only more questions and more definitions.
The answer lies within me but how do I answer the question of Priority?
Is there really an answer?
Yes,
and that answer is all up to me.

Balance (noun) – an even distribution of weight enabling SOMEONE or something to remain upright and steady.
It is my belief that a modern life revolves or should revolve around achieving a balance of the three components of everyday life. Work, Family, Oneself. A balance of work, family, and oneself is what we all desire but struggle to prioritize. The benefits of the balancing of these three components of life are obvious yet we fail to work to maintain daily balance. We allow ourselves to ignore the notices of imbalance that we receive from our workmates, from our peers, from our family, and from our body itself. We choose imbalance over balance each day by making the choice to allow one component of life to dominate the others. Our choice creates stress for all three and therefore we experience all three in their state of less than optimal performance. A life lived or a life somewhat lived is the question we should ask ourselves throughout the day. Balance is as much an attitude as it is a measure and throughout the day and after each day we should reflect on each day to determine balance. To reflect and balance we should do the following;
Evaluate your reality,
Evaluate the level of truth you are accepting,
Evaluate your reality,
adjust.
Repeat as necessary.
